The economy is melting down every single day-life of common Kenyans getting tougher as pockets dry up inch by inch deeper. A Kenyan upcoming artist, Lan’g Katalan’g K’Lang can’t bear this any longer.
He candidly came out clear on his social media account to advertise his kidney and get market in order to make ends meet. “It is with regret that I announce the sale of my kidney at a marked price of ksh25 million to any lucky buyer out there. I must say the reason for sale is to sustain myself and loved ones during this tough economic time.”
The young musician took to his Facebook page to give such distressing information since he can no longer take care of his family; meet their needs and have a pleasant life. To ascertain the gravitas of the issue, he even called upon those seriously in need to contact him via an email for immediate transplant.
This is just one of the millions of destitute Kenyans who can no longer repress how they feel over the current situation. It’s time the government came up with concessionary measures to help majority of Kenyans who are now struggling to put food on the table.
With the current lockdown on five counties, it is even tougher as businesses either shut or low income yet family needs keep recurring as the sun continues to rise and set. The 28-year old lad is part of this population that can’t hold on with their battled economy.
