Angry President Uhuru’s Allie asks DP Ruto to quit the government

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies have asked Deputy President William Ruto to resign after his direct attack on his boss on Thursday. The allies claimed that Mr Ruto had crossed the red line and that he should quit the government.

Joshua Kutuny, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Jubilee party said that Ruto should resign if at all he is not satisfied with President Uhuru’s leadership. This comes a day after DP Ruto asked those in power to respect the constitution and follow the law.

The words of DP Ruto were termed as a direct attack on his boss. Joshua Kutuny said that the attacks on the President from the DP shall not be taken lightly anymore. Kutuny said that DP Ruto has no business associated with the current government and that he should quit. This is after he claimed that Ruto said the President has become so selfish in each and every move he makes.

For him now to claim that the president is becoming selfish in every move that he takes, I think he doesn’t have any business being associated with the government of today,

The internal conflicts between President Uhuru’s allies and the Deputy President have been there since the President joined hand with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta are championing to amend the 2010 Kenyan constitution before the 2022 general elections.
