Bahati ditches gospel music for secular

Kenyan music artist Kevin Bahati has hinted at his exit from Gospel music. The sensational artist will now follow the footsteps of his counterpart Willy Paul who ditched the Gospel industry for the secular music industry.

While preparing to release his new album, Bahati dropped a two minutes secular song Fikra za Bahati. The new hit which has over 354k views, 17k likes, and 2k dislike on youtube hints at the stepping stone of Bahati leaving the gospel music industry.

Scenes in the video of the new hit have left people talking not knowing that Bahati nolonger sing gospel music.

Since he married his lovely wife Diana, Bahati has been releasing hits after hits with most Secular Artists. His hit song Mutaachana tu is one of the most liked songs by the fans.

Bahati ventured himself into the Gospel Industry in the year 2012, a year after his completion of KCSE. It has been 9 years of service in the Gospel industry and now Bahati shifts his service to the world of secular music. Do you think he’ll perform more than he has performed in Gospel?
