Abdi Bute Sure, a chief at Sala Location in Tana River County collapsed and died in a KCSE exam room. According to reports, Abdi was a private candidate who registered for KCSE at Hola Boys Secondary School.
Confirming the incident, Mathias Mbogai Rioba the County Commissioner in Tana River said that the deceased died on the spot after collapsing.

The cause of the chief’s death is not reported. The County Commissioner said that they are still waiting for doctor’s report concerning the matter.

Being a Muslim, Abdi was buried immediately after his sudden demise. The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE exams are in the second week after last week’s kickoff.
