Miss Marya prude Irungu, who is the ex-wife of citizen television’s presenter Willis Raburu has warned her fans to stop referring to her as Mrs. Raburu. She’s been really struggling to drop the tag name Mrs. Raburu to no avail. Her social media accounts read; Mary Prude Irungu but it’s clear her fans are yet to move on while some still refer to her as Mrs. Raburu.
She claims to be tired of all these and made it clear when she responded to a fan’s comment by tweeting “I’m tired of deleting your comment every time! I’m now Ms. Irungu….thanks”.
I mean who can blame her? It’s really exhausting when you are trying your best to move on after a failed marriage and people still refer to you with your ex-husband’s name. She’s back to the market and all she wants is a break from that title and yes, she’s very much single and ready to mingle.
The beautiful Miss and the ex-husband Willis Raburu did get married in a colourful wedding not long ago but parted ways after several months due to cheating allegations. The situation was further worsened when they lost their daughter and at that moment Ms. Irungu stated that she doubts If God was there, for she sought him at that trying moment but did not find him.
It’s understandable for she was in grief, losing a child and battling a failing or failed marriage isn’t an easy task and needs some resilience and tough stamina.
Maybe the title ‘Mrs. Raburu’ brings to her memories that she’d rather not think about and yes it’s very much justifying not to refer to her like that because they are no longer together and neither of them is planning to reach out and make things work. It’s high time her fans should move on as well and Inwards, Kindly refer to her as Ms. Irungu: That’s who she is, she no longer had the title ‘ Mrs’!
