Chelsea’s unbeaten run has ended today after the relegation threatened Westbrom Albion used their numerical advantage to score five past them at Stamford bridge.
Chelsea were the first to score with a rebound from pulisic after Marcus Alonso’s free kick came of the post. Few minutes later their free transfer Thiago Silva received a second yellow after a reckless tackle.
Matheus Pereira brought westbrom back into the game after he score fast two goals before the half time whistle to take the visitors ahead with two goals.
Few minutes apart into second half, Callum Robinson volleyed Darnell Fulong’s cross before Mbaye Diane converted Pereira’s assist to make it four.
Chelsea answered with a second goal after Marson Mount tapped in Timo Werner’s cross. But the home side’s hopes were buried with Callum Robinson’s chip over onrushing Mendy to make it five.
Westbrom are now seven points off the relegation danger sitting at position 19 in the table.
