Residents in Shinyalu Village in Kakamega County were on Tuesday left speechless after a cow gave birth to an egg after 9 months of pregnancy. The incident which left most of thye speechless has been the talk of the town in the Western County.
According to Anyamah Douglas, a Prester at one of the local radio station, the owner of the cow couldn’t believe what he saw. After 9 months of waiting, his cow have birth to an egg instead of a calf.
Photos shared by Douglas shows a white egg with blood on it laying next to the black cow.
Residents in the village believed that the cause of the cow to give birth to an egg is associated with witchcraft. In the photos shared, one of the elders was seen carrying the egg with blood in his hand as he posses for a photo.
This is not the first time that such suspicious incident occurred in Kakamega County. In the year 2020, another cow from the same county gave birth to an offspring which resembles exactly like a human being.
