It is a sad day to the President of the USA Joe Biden and the entire USA as thousands congregate on facebook and Twitter to mourn the sudden demise of a dog.
Taking to his Facebook account, Joe Bidden expressed his heartfelt condolences to his family at large for losing such an important animal. Joe said that the German Shepherd who passed n today was their cherished champion for the last 13 years.
”Our hearts are heavy today as we let you all know that our beloved German Shepherd, Champ, passed away peacefully at home. He was our constant, cherished companion during the last 13 years and was adored by the entire Biden family,” Joe posted on Facebook.
Even as Champ’s strength waned in his last months when we came into a room, he would immediately pull himself up, his tail always wagging, and nuzzle us for an ear scratch or a belly rub. Wherever we were, he wanted to be, and everything was instantly better when he was next to us. He loved nothing more than curling up at our feet in front of a fire at the end of the day, joining us as a comforting presence in meetings, or sunning himself in the White House garden,” Joe added.
Joe Biden went on to remember the happiest moments with their Champ when he’d chase golf balls and how he enjoyed racing with the children.
”In his younger days, he was happiest chasing golf balls on the front lawn of the Naval Observatory or racing to catch our grandchildren as they ran around our backyard in Delaware. In our most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion. We love our sweet, good boy and will miss him always,” Joe Biden posted on Facebook.
Thousands of Americans joined their President in mourn his dog.
Sticky Fingers All-Stars Dear Mr. President, I’m sorry for the loss of your family pet, Champ. I have had dogs my entire life. I still do. We know entering the always too short relationship with our pets that one day it will end and it will be emotionally devastating. Yet, the unconditional love shared between pets and their owners makes that unavoidable very painful day worth it. Champ had a life most people can only dream of because of you and your loving family. Love them every chance you get while you have them. Life is just better with pets.
