By Technical University of Mombasa has today, Monday, 25 January 2021 unveiled a 400 students capacity hostel in a colourful event that was presided over by the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laila Abubakar.
The Hostel which is self contained is the only of the kind in the Coastal region in Kenya. Before, TUM-Kwale campus students were residing in hostels far away from their institution. The newly unveiled Hostel will solve the problem of transportation coast from hostels to the campus.
The newly built hostel will accommodate all boys and girls students as it has a boundary in between that divides the rooms in the apartment.
