Deputy President William Ruto has pointed fingers at those who are in power and not obeying the law. Speaking in Kiambu while meeting community leaders, the Deputy President’s remark on the obeying of the law appeared to have been tailored to his boss President Kenyatta.
According to the star, William Ruto said that those in power must work within the dictates of the law and that they must follow the constitution.
The remarks of the DP come after President Kenyatta refused to appoint six Judges that the State House claims have pending issues that they should clear first.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are on the run to amend the 2010 constitution through the BBI which was ruled by the High Court as unconstitutional.
The two Handshake principals are believed to be pushing the referendum which will see the current 2010 constitution being changed before the 2022 General election.
The Deputy President and his boss have not been on good working terms since President Uhuru joined the handshake. Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga have been seen occasionally ding projects together in absence of the DP.
